We sell personalised, bespoke gifts via our website.

1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from www.french-fancies.com (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Orders

When you place an order, you agree to the following:

• You agree that all details provided are accurate and correct
• Personalisation text (names/dates/wording/options) must be entered correctly as these cannot be changed once checkout is complete
• We are not responsible for any errors entered by the customer

3. Products

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in colour, size, or design may occur due to screen settings and the handmade or personalized nature of certain items.

4. Personalized Products – No Returns or Refunds

All personalized, custom-made, or made-to-order products are:

​•​Non-returnable
​•​Non-exchangeable

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, personalised goods are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation right.

This policy applies once the order has been confirmed and production has begun.

Please ensure that all personalization details (including spelling, dates, and design choices) are correct before completing your purchase. We are not responsible for errors submitted by the customer.

Exception:
If your personalized item arrives damaged due to transit, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence of the damage and the packaging (including shipping label).
We will assess the issue and offer a solution where possible.

5. Non-Personalized Products

For non-personalized items, returns may be accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided:
​•​The item is unused and in its original condition
​•​The item is returned in its original packaging
​•​Proof of purchase is provided

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

6. Damaged or Faulty Items

If you receive a damaged or faulty item, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Please provide:

​•​A description of the issue
​•​Clear photos of the damage, item, and packaging (with shipping label)

We reserve the right to refuse claims submitted outside the stated timeframe.

7. Shipping

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or unforeseen events.

Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery.

8. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in GBP and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time.

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the payment methods provided on our website.

9. Order Cancellation

Orders for personalized products cannot be cancelled once production has started.
If you encounter any issues, please contact us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to solve the issue, however, this cannot be guaranteed.

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion and issue a full refund if necessary.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, French Fancies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.
All products are for personal use. Our total liability, if proven, shall not exceed the amount paid for the product

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the England & Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
